Mayank Singhal

Mayank Singhal, an advisory board member for the Boston University Institute for Global Sustainability (IGS), is Vice Chairman and Managing Director of PI Industries Ltd. with more than 25 years of experience. Singhal is responsible for bringing transformative, global change to the unique business model of the agri-sciences company. He has partnered with more than 25 global innovators across the value chain, from discovery to markets, by leveraging the company’s innovations and chemistry-based capabilities backed by strong digital interventions to advance a healthier planet.

Additionally, Singhal serves on the boards of PILL Finance and Investment Ltd., TP Buildtech Pvt. Ltd., Fratelli Wines Pvt. Ltd., and PI Health Sciences Ltd. He has been a member of YPO Delhi Chapter since 2013 and is a founding member of Brookings India. Most recently, he was nominated by the Department of Science and Technology, Gol as a member of the Governing Board of the Indo-US S&T Forum (IUSSTF) that provides IUSSTF with administrative oversight plus guidance and vision for strengthening India-US cooperation in science, technology, and innovation. He also serves as the Chairman of CII Northern Region Agri Committee and has a strong interest in the social and environmental development areas.

Singhal’s achievements have been well recognized, and most recently he was named CEO of the Year by Business Today in the Agriculture and allied sectors. PI Industries Ltd. has earned recognition as the agricultural sector winner in India’s Top 500 Companies 2022 presented by Dun & Bradstreet, part of the theme “ESG: The only way for sustainable and responsible growth”. In 2021, the company emerged as one of the top quintile companies in its very first S&P Global Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) with a 93 percentile industry ranking.
