Kelly Aho

Kelly Aho, affiliated faculty with the Boston University Institute for Global Sustainability (IGS), is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biology at Boston University. Aho’s research focuses on carbon and nitrogen cycling in freshwater ecosystems. She is particularly interested in greenhouse gas production in and emissions from aquatic ecosystems. This research is relevant to aquatic ecology, carbon and nitrogen cycle models, and greenhouse gas budgets.
