Lizzy Yue

Lizzy Yue, a 2026 Graduate Summer Fellow at the Boston University Institute for Global Sustainability (IGS), is a PhD student in Computer Engineering in the College of Engineering. Yue is conducting independent research on addressing scalability and sustainability challenges in AI systems. She develops system-level methods to measure, analyze, and improve the energy efficiency of large-scale AI workloads.
Her faculty advisor is Ayșe Coskun (Professor (ECE, SE Affiliate); Associate Dean for Research and Faculty Development, Director, Center for Information and Systems Engineering; IGS Core Faculty) and her project is titled “Power Optimization in Large Language Model Inference Serving.“
