Peter Fox-Penner gave presentation at Climateworks
On April 4, 2016 ISE Director Peter Fox-Penner gave an invited presentation at Climateworks on Grid Equity in the Clean Power Transition. The main message of the presentation is that the distribution and transmission grids are key to the clean power transition and also key to realizing the potential of distributed power. Adequate funding and regulation of both the small-scale and large-scale grids is important, and calls for new rate and revenue models. Moreover, this funding absolutely must be done in an income-progressive manner. The well-attended presentation included representatives of Pacific Gas and Electric, the Hewlett Foundation, and the Energy Foundation, among others.
