In 2000 International Education Week (IEW) began as a joint initiative between the departments of Education and State to celebrate international exchange and education. In 2011 Global Programs first facilitated Boston University’s participation in IEW through hosting our own events as well as helping other offices, departments, cultural groups and schools around BU develop and promote their own events. Over the past 14 years BU has offered hundreds of events across campus and around the world celebrating BU’s global engagement.
