Boston Regional Brain Bee |

The brain bee is a live question and answer competition testing the neuroscience knowledge of high school students, grades 9-12. Topics range from learning and memory to neurodegenerative disorders. All questions come from the Society for Neuroscience's Brain Facts book. |

GK-12 is a NSF-funded program that partners graduate and undergraduate fellows in biology, chemistry, engineering, mathematics, and physics with teachers in K-12 classrooms in Boston, Quincy, Chelsea, and Newton. The fellows collaborate with their partner teachers on ways to enhance the content of the curriculum by developing new modules, designing new activities, providing demos, and assisting with labs. |

The National Science Foundation (NSF) is an independent federal agency created by Congress in 1950 "to promote the progress of science; to advance the national health, prosperity, and welfare; to secure the national defense…” The GK-12 program at Boston University is funded by the NSF. |
