Keyi Tang is a Global China Pre-doctoral Research Fellow at the Boston University Global Development Policy Center and a Ph.D. candidate at the Johns Hopkins School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), where she studies political economy.
Keyi has done research on three topics: 1) the distributive politics of development finance in sub-Saharan Africa; 2) the impact evaluation of China-financed hydroelectric dam in Ghana; 3) the policy transfer of special economic zones in Ethiopia and Vietnam. Keyi graduated from Nanjing University with a B.A. in English in 2016 and obtained an M.A. in International Studies from the Hopkins-Nanjing Center in 2019.
