BU faculty are invited to attend this dynamic and informative workshop on best practices for faculty mentoring. Mentors currently mentoring faculty, faculty with future mentoring responsibilities, and faculty developers will find this workshop especially helpful. The workshop will cover the following topics: The impact of effective vs. ineffective mentoring on faculty and institutions, core principles of effective mentoring, rethinking mentoring as mutual learning, humility, and flexibility, nuances in mentoring and differences between mentoring vs. coaching, practical mentoring and conversation strategies to support diverse mentees. A selection of beverages and lunch will be provided during the workshop. Please register by February 16.
