Yuxin Ni

Yuxin Ni has been a doctoral student in public health at Boston University since September 2022. She has worked as a Research Assistant at Social Entrepreneurship to Spur Health in China and as a Project Specialist at Syneos Health in Beijing. At the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Gainesville, she coordinated a phase II clinical trial on cardiovascular disease and a behavioral project for rural veterans with disabilities. Yuxin also has experience as a Clinical Research Assistant at the North Florida Foundation for Research and Education and as an intern at both the VA and the Center for Disease Control and Prevention in Guangzhou. She holds a Master’s in Public Health from the University of Florida and a Bachelor’s in Traditional Chinese Medicine from the Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.

Research Interests: Narrowing health disparities among LGBTQ population health by using mix-method and community-based participatory research approach.
