Shruti Bandarupalli

Shruti Bandarupalli, M.D., is a Master of Public Health candidate at Boston University School of Public Health, focusing on Biostatistics and Epidemiology. She earned her Doctor of Medicine degree from Davao Medical School Foundation, Inc. in the Philippines. Shruti is passionate about health equity and leveraging emerging technologies to improve healthcare access while utilizing data to enhance health outcomes.

As a physician, she worked on the frontlines during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic in India. Throughout her career, Shruti has engaged with a diverse population, ranging from rural to urban communities. She has experience working in various organizations, from community health centers to private hospitals. Additionally, Shruti has been involved in numerous community outreach projects and initiatives in India and the Philippines, leading to significant outcomes such as reduced patient mortality rates and improved healthcare delivery.

Beyond her professional roles, Shruti actively takes part in leadership and volunteer efforts. With her background in medicine and public health, she aims to utilize her experience in healthcare program development, advocacy, leadership, and strategic evaluation to support the mission of Emerging Women Leaders.
