
Sarah Weber
EWL 2025 Mentee
Sarah Weber is a PhD candidate in Epidemiology at Boston University School of Public Health, where she previously earned her Master of Public Health in Global Health with a concentration in Epidemiology & Biostatistics. She works in both domestic and international public health, focusing on research and project management. Currently at Boston Medical Center, she has served as a Project Manager and Research Study Coordinator, managing various health research initiatives. Sarah’s international public health experience includes work with USAID-funded projects in Ghana, where she supported maternal and child health initiatives through the Ghana Registered Midwives Association. She also served as a Community HIV/AIDS Outreach Volunteer with Peace Corps South Africa, managing gender-based violence case databases and conducting community needs assessments. Early in her career, she conducted research at the University of Maryland School of Public Health, evaluating health intervention programs for youth in Nigeria. Sarah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Community Health with a minor in Global Poverty from the University of Maryland, where she graduated Cum Laude.
