Ruth Geller

EWL 2021 Mentee

Ruth J. Geller, is a PhD student in Epidemiology at Boston University School of Public Health, where she analyzes environmental exposures’ effects on reproductive and perinatal health outcomes. She previously worked as a Biostatistician/Epidemiologist at Massachusetts General Hospital, managing data for children’s respiratory health studies, and as a Research Associate at The George Washington University, developing statistical programs and managing data for reproductive epidemiology research. Ruth has also contributed to FDA research, analyzing clinical trial demographics and developing frameworks for research impact. She holds a Master’s degree in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health and a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, summa cum laude, from the University of Pittsburgh, where she also conducted research on economic development impacts and protein degradation in nematodes.

Research Interests: Effects of environmental exposures on reproductive and perinatal health outcomes.
