Ruby Barnard-Mayers

Ruby Barnard-Mayers, is a Doctoral Student in Epidemiology at Boston University School of Public Health, where she also serves as a Teaching Assistant, creating and delivering course content with a focus on health equity and racial justice. She has significant research experience, having worked on HPV vaccine studies and maternal healthcare decision-making, and has presented at the APHA Annual Meeting. Ruby previously held administrative and financial roles at Aquila Recovery and has a strong academic background with a Master of Public Health in Maternal and Child Health from Boston University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics, Statistics, and Anthropology from Grinnell College, where she also captained the Women’s Varsity Soccer team.
