Maryjoy Gerald is a Master of Public Health (MPH) candidate at Boston University School of Public Health, specializing in Health Program Management and Global Health. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Health and Nursing Sciences and is a trained nurse with experience in clinical care and healthcare management in Germany. Prior to pursuing her MPH, she worked as a Care Case Manager, where she managed complex cases and coordinated care across patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.

Maryjoy is passionate about advancing health equity through culturally responsive care and thoughtful public health program management focused on impact evaluation. Her interests focus on strengthening health systems, improving access to quality care, and ensuring interventions respond to community needs. Through her academic and global health experiences, she aims to bridge clinical knowledge with population-level strategies to develop sustainable, equitable health solutions.
