Kasarachi Aluka-Omitiran

Kasarachi Aluka-Omitiran is a Nigerian Community Health Physician and a Deputy Director at the National Primary Health Care Development Agency (NPHCDA). She holds a Master of Science in Public Health with a focus on Health Services Management from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, a Fellowship in Community Health from the West African College of Physicians, and an MBA from Enugu State University of Science and Technology. Kasarachi’s experience in public health encompasses her role as Deputy Programme Manager for the CHIPS Programme at NPHCDA, where she focused on strategy development and implementation. Currently, she demonstrates her commitment to leadership development and governance through her roles as Founder of non-profit organizations dedicated to fostering leadership capacity -the Women in Leadership and Governance and the Lumiere Leadership Network.
Research Interests: Developing frameworks and agile accountability matrices for leadership and governance of health systems to improve population health outcomes, strengthening health security systems, creating enabling environments, and equipping women for leadership positions.
