
Kari Radof
EWL 2024 Mentee
Kari Radoff is a faculty member at Boston University, joining in 2012 after earning her Master of Science in Nursing and Nurse-Midwifery from the University of California, San Francisco. She completed a Fulbright grant in Nicaragua, developing a radio-based pregnancy education intervention, and is fluent in Spanish, focusing on community-based care for the Spanish-speaking population. Her research emphasizes shared decision-making and promoting physiologic birth to reduce primary cesarean rates. Kari has influenced obstetric policies to enhance patient choice and is a clinical consultant for Partner to Decide. As an educator, she developed a physiologic birth lecture series for OBGYN residents and co-founded the breastfeeding medicine clerkship at Boston University. She is passionate about supporting informed choices during pregnancy and childbirth and is dedicated to empowering women and pregnant individuals.
Research Interests: Maternal health, shared decision-making choices in healthcare.
