Janice Chen
Former Program Officer and Community Outreach
Janice Chen is an MPH graduate focusing on Epidemiology, Biostatistics, and Program Management from Boston University School of Public Health. She has served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant, supporting courses such as Quantitative Methods of Public Health and Cancer Epidemiology, where she assisted students and collaborated with faculty on course objectives. As a Program and Communications Outreach Officer at EWL, she facilitated communication between mentors, mentees, and external presenters, organized events, and developed communication materials. Additionally, she completed a Summer Epidemiology Internship with the Brookline Department of Health, where she compiled and organized public health data, conducted data analysis, and presented findings to stakeholders. Janice has also worked as a Research Data Specialist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, focusing on data abstraction and quality assurance for hematologic malignancies.
