
Jamila Yakubu

Jamila Yakubu is a Doctor of Public Health (DrPH) candidate at Boston University, specializing in Health Behavior Science and Global Health Initiatives. She has extensive experience as a Behavior Scientist at Johnson & Johnson Health and Wellness Solutions, where she contributed to developing health behavior interventions. As a Program Manager for the Clinton Health Access Initiative’s maternal and newborn health programs in Nigeria, Jamila led initiatives to improve health outcomes for mothers and infants. Her academic career includes leading cross-continental health projects at the University of Michigan and conducting impactful research in Ghana and India. Jamila holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and Religious Studies from the University of Iowa. She is passionate about improving health outcomes through evidence-based interventions.
