Elizabeth Cohen has been the senior medical correspondent for CNN’s Health, Medical and Wellness unit since joining the network in 1991, bringing over three decades of experience in health journalism. Prior to her role at CNN, she worked as a reporter for States News Service in Washington, DC and for The Times Union in Albany, New York. Elizabeth holds a Master of Public Health (MPH) from Boston University, obtained in 1992, and a bachelor’s degree in history from Columbia College, which she earned in 1987.
