Catherine Connolly

EWL 2021 Mentee

Catherine Connolly, is a Specialist at The Cadmus Group since January 2024. Previously, she was a Postdoctoral Research Scientist at Columbia University Mailman School of Public Health, where she focused on housing policy, health and energy equity, and building decarbonization. She collaborated with the Natural Resources Defense Council, developing her skills in statistical analysis, epidemiological modeling, and science communication. Catherine earned her PhD from Boston University School of Public Health, researching indoor air quality, energy modeling, and pediatric asthma. She also worked as an IT Systems Analyst at Optum Technology and as an Undergraduate Researcher at Rutgers University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering, graduating Summa Cum Laude.

Research interests: Environmental exposures and pediatric health. Dissertation research focuses on modeling indoor air quality, energy, and health outcomes in residential and school settings.
