
Alianna Higgins

Alianna Higgins is a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) candidate in Epidemiology at Boston University School of Public Health, where she previously completed her Master of Public Health (MPH) in Epidemiology & Biostatistics with a focus on Infectious Disease. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biochemistry from Hastings College. Currently, Alianna serves as a Graduate Research Assistant at Boston University School of Public Health, working on projects related to intellectual disability in the Rubenstein Lab. Her public health experience includes roles at South Heartland Health District, where she completed two internships focused on immunization programs and flu vaccination initiatives. She has also contributed to healthcare delivery as an ER Department Assistant at Mary Lanning Healthcare, where she assisted with patient care coordination and COVID-19 screening during the pandemic.
