Erin Fortunato

Erin Fortunato is a DrPH student in Leadership, Management, and Policy with 15+ years of public health and health education experience. Erin is dedicated to advocating for the conditions that enable adolescents to thrive, and she is skilled in communicating complicated and emotionally charged information in clear, accessible ways. A Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES®), Erin recently interned with the Behavioral Health Policy and Advocacy team in Government Relations at Boston Children’s Hospital. She holds a Masters in Public Health in Social and Behavioral Sciences with a concentration in Health Communication from Boston University School of Public Health.

Research Interests: Adolescent health, complex medical and behavioral health care management for children and adolescents, comprehensive sexuality education, medical and behavioral health needs of children involved with state agencies, peer health education, and school-based health education.
