Meet the Team!
The Student Elections Commission (SEC) is an independent student-led entity. The commission’s purpose is to administer elections for the Boston University Student Union as well as elections for those College governments that wish to leverage the SEC as a supporting organization. The SEC accepts petitions from students wishing to run for office, maintains guidelines surrounding candidates’ campaign processes, oversees candidates to ensure adherence to the Elections Code and university policy, works with the appropriate offices to maintain the online voting system, promotes and executes a fair election cycle, and publishes the results of the elections. It is the commission’s continuing goal to provide the Boston University Student Body with just and fair Student Government Elections and to promote increased student participation in every aspect of the election.

Will Fuller (he/him), CAS 2026
Majoring in International Relations; Minoring in Statistics
In my time at BU, I’ve been most heavily involved with BU Prison Outreach Initiative, where we work in advocacy for prison reform and actual direct outreach and action. Further, I’ve had the privilege of writing for the International Relations Review, editing for the BU Beacon, and working for BU in varying capacities as an Orientation Leader and Pardee Dean’s Ambassador! In my own time, I love to spend time with friends, write, study maps, and more. I joined the SEC because one of my personal passions is the study of voting patterns and democratic trends. More importantly, though, I joined because I believe one of the best ways to help the growth of community on campus is to ensure that all students can partake in our own democratic process and trust in the integrity of that same process!
