Dr. Elli Ntakou, BU alum and current Advisor at Quanta Technology

Dr. Elli Ntakou works as an Advisor for Quanta Technology. In her current role, she assists customers in the electric power industry with projects spanning planning, implementation and policy. Projects she contributes or leads are in the areas of electric power markets, transactive energy and distributed energy resources, focusing on customized solutions employing optimization and data analytics. Prior to that, she was working as a power market analyst for ESAI power. Dr. Ntakou received both PhD and MS degrees in Systems Engineering from Boston University in 2017, advised by Professor Michael Caramanis, and a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (Greece). Her doctoral thesis proposed and formulated a computationally efficient distribution-level power market that optimizes the dynamic provision of various products from distributed energy resources (DERs).
