CISE Resident Scholars Program
To facilitate collaborative research interactions with CISE-affiliated faculty, the CISE Resident Scholars program hosts emerging or eminent scientists at the Boston University campus on a short-term basis (from a few weeks up to one year). This program has realized fruitful research collaborations with academics from prominent institutions around the world, such as the École Polytechnique de Louvain, Imperial College London, Technion Israel Institute of Technology, Shanghai Jiao Tong University, the Indian Institute of Technology Bombay, Texas A&M, University of California, San Diego, and University of Michigan, among others.
They are required to be in residence in CISE during the term of the appointment. They are provided with an office and the center will reimburse them for local living expenses and travel between Boston University and their home institution. They will have no teaching duties, although they are encouraged to deliver seminars, lead discussion groups, and engage with CISE faculty and students. CISE invites nominations and expressions of interest for the position of CISE Resident Scholar from faculty or scientists worldwide. For consideration, please contact CISE Director, Yannis Paschalidis.
