Center for English Language & Orientation Programs

After 50 years as an important contributor to Boston University’s global distinction, the Center for English Language and Orientation Programs (CELOP) will be permanently closing on August 31, 2026. We are deeply grateful to the students, faculty, and staff whose dedication made CELOP an important part of the BU community.

Students who attended CELOP and need a confirmation of attendance may order transcripts online for electronic or paper delivery through Parchment, Boston University’s transcript partner. Because CELOP coursework was offered through non-credit programs, the transcript will list the enrolled program(s) and not the individual courses. Please note that a Boston University transcript includes the students’ complete Boston University academic record, and will show any additional programs taken at BU, in addition to your CELOP program(s).
