In 2021, Farnoush Shafiei worked in the Agarwal Lab. During this time she focused on micro- and meso-mechanics of agarose hydrogels. More specifically, she conducted tensor testing and indentation testing of mechanical properties of a growth hydrogel of different concentrations.
More about My Experience
This was Farnoush’s first research experience and she greatly enjoyed being part of the lab and experiencing life as a researcher.
After completing her research experience, Farnoush Shafiei earned her AS in Electronic Engineering from Miami Dade Community College.
