Elisa Bravo
For two summers in 2018 and 2019, Elisa worked in the Nanometer Scale Engineering Laboratory under Dr. Kamil Ekinci and mentored by Mustafa Cagatay Karakan at Boston University. Her research projects focused on exploring microfluidics and new techniques to fabricate 3D electrodes using Gallium-based liquid metals, which is done with much greater ease and results […]
Tamia Carter
In 2019, Tamia worked in the Ekinci Lab dealing with a microfluidic optical partical sorter. Her research focused on isolating microparticles using a laser and controlled the flow rate at which they would be input into the frame that the laser went through. She also aided in the beginning stages of developing a microfluidic particle […]
Jean Paul Soto Aquino
In 2018, Jean worked in the White and Ekinci Labs researching cardiomyocyte actuation through the use of microfluidic devices.
Addianette Segarra
In 2021, Addianette Segarra worked in the Ekinci Lab researching with a device that shows antibiotic susceptibility testing. She using electrical signals to measure the bacterial growth in microfluidic channels. Learn more about Addianette and her work below!
