Dana Brown

Dana worked in the Bishop Lab in the summer of 2021. She learned how to use circuit boards and work with nano machines seeking to create an electrical area that is consistent with specialized stem cells. Learn more about Dana and her work below!

Tiffany Cole

In 2021, Tiffany Cole worked in the Bishop Lab. She studied cell substrate interactions to see if they can monitor or change the behaviors of cardiomyocytes to later turn into a cardiac patch. Learn more about Tiffany and her work below!

Anwar Haloui

In 2022, Anwar Haloui worked in the Bishop lab with graduate student mentor, Noelle Pierce. He worked on patterning cardiomyocytes on a 2-D layer of gold. More specifically, he designed and manufactured templets for the cardiomyocytes to assess adhesion to edges and filets.   Hear more about Anwar’s summer experience!

Babajide Koleoso

Babajide worked on building a scaffold that would house heart cells to make the cells communicate more effectively and contract cohesively. Learn more about BJ and his work below!

Adrian Parnell

In 2022, Adrian worked in the Bishop Lab with mentor Josh Javor. He worked on inference reduction of MEMS magnetic sensor setup via custom PCB design.   Watch below to hear more about Adrian’s REM experience!

Colette Towles

Colette worked in the Bishop Lab getting acquainted with CAD software by building a 3D printer. She also used Python to code a temperature sensor for one of the labs in the photonics center. Learn more about Colette and her work below!
