Dickerson Lab

Darryl Dickerson is an associate professor at the University of New Mexico and was formerly faculty at Florida International University. He obtained his PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Purdue University.

The Dickerson Lab focuses on exploring mechanical properties of cardiac tissues. More specifically, they focus on nanomechanics of bio and soft materials as well as engineering complex tissues and understanding how biophysical cues impact engineered tissue function
