Sebastian worked on “High Throughput Screening System for Engineered Heart Tissues” in the Bifano lab. The project aims to analyze the contractile force of engineered heart tissue.
More about My Experience
Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Sebastian Martinez was a junior studying Biomedical Engineering at Ohio State University at the time of his REU participationparticipant. Having a father as a civil engineer, Sebastian was always drawn to problem solving, which led him to take interest in biomedical engineering in high school.
Sebastian is interested in device development and plans to apply to MS and PhD programs at BU and other institutions in Boston and California.
