Amanda spent six weeks of the summer working on developing lessons for her BioTech course at East Boston High School and later on invited members of Chris Chen’s laboratory to her classroom for BU’s NSF RET’s piloted “case-study curriculum”.

Amanda Dillingham has a long history with Research Experiences for Teachers Sites. As such, our first ERC year, we piloted a parallel and integrated approach to the RET program for CELL-MET. She has worked closely with the CELL-MET team on other projects such as a tiered mentoring program where high school students learned CELL-MET’s EEK! curriculum and adapted it so that they could teach it to middle and elementary students.
