In 2021, Tiffany Cole worked in the Bishop Lab. She studied cell substrate interactions to see if they can monitor or change the behaviors of cardiomyocytes to later turn into a cardiac patch.
More about My Experience
Tiffany Cole was a member of the NSF ERC Supplemental REM 3. She had previously done a remote research experience, but this was her first in-person one.
Because there are so many diverse personalities from all around the country, she advises future REUs to be themselves while also staying open to new opportunities.
After completing her research experience, Tiffany graduated with a Biology degree from Fort Valley State University.
