Kristin Lees, MA

Lab Manager

I graduated from New York University in 2012 with a MA in Applied Psychology (Human Development and Social Intervention). As a graduate student, my research focused on the design and implementation of social justice–based intervention with an aim of improving mental health outcomes in marginalized populations. My work focused on improving outcomes for survivors of domestic violence and their children. Working with children in domestic violence crisis shelters sparked my interest in further understanding children’s cognitive processes and how researchers can apply this information to better inform intervention and education. Here at the Child Cognition Lab, I am excited to pursue my passion for working with and learning from children.
