Esra Nur Turan-Küçük

Esra Nur Turan-Küçük received her B.A. in Psychology from Istanbul Sehir University, where she did her senior thesis in the development of possibility concept in young children. In her undergraduate years, she worked as a lab manager at Istanbul Sehir University Developmental & Psychopathology lab. She is a former summer research assistant at Harvard Lab for Developmental Studies. Currently, she is a Ph.D. student, and a Turkish Fulbright grantee, working with Dr. Melissa Kibbe.

Esra’s work broadly focuses on conceptual development. Specifically, she examines the concept of possibility and its relationship with the active participation of children. 

She also enjoys drawing, urban sketching, playing nay (a traditional flute), and spending time with her family.
