Destiny Crisp

Lab Manager

I am the research technician and lab manager of the Brain and Early Experiences (BEE) Laboratory. Before joining the BEE research team, I completed my Bachelor’s in Psychology (Honors) and Public Health at Williams College. I have an array of research experience in social, clinical, and health psychology. Most notably, before BEE, I worked as a clinical research coordinator for the Crochiere Health Laboratory at Williams College where I worked on a project predicting physical activity and dietary lapses using ecological momentary assessments, sensor technology, such as Fitbits, and machine learning algorithms. Now, as a member of the BEE Laboratory, I am looking forward to harnessing objective biobehavioral data, to understand the development of adverse health outcomes in children. In the future, I hope to complete a PhD program in Clinical Psychology to continue to research the development of psychiatric illnesses and methods to systematically improve health in underserved communities.
