My name is Gia Gupta, and I am a junior at Boston University majoring in Human Physiology and minoring in Public Health. I’ve always been passionate about working with children, and much of my time outside the classroom has been dedicated to mentoring and supporting them — whether through Big Sisters of Boston or as an educator. At BU, I’ve continued to pursue this interest academically and professionally, and I’m so excited to be a part of the Child
Cognition Lab. My research interests lie at the intersection of developmental psychology and child health, and I’m looking forward to gaining hands-on experience while deepening my understanding of early cognitive development. After graduation, I plan to attend medical school and pursue a career in pediatrics. I’m thrilled to be taking the next step in my academic journey with this team!
