I am a senior in BU’s College of Arts and Sciences majoring Psychology and planning to minor in Education. Currently I am a research assistant in the Child Cognition Lab working on how children learn in the STEM field, specifically about difficult topics like Natural Selection. This fits well with my personal interests about the intersection of Psychology and Education, and why children are able to understand some concepts much easier than others. In addition to being a research assistant, I am a sister of Kappa Alpha Theta, the Outreach Director for Generation Citizen, and a writer for BU’s Chapter of Her Campus. I am so excited to pursue my interests of Psychology and Education in this lab, and hope to continue in this field of study through graduate school where I intend to study School Psychology.
