You can make an impact on students and faculty in CAS—what will it be? The College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences is a place of possibilities, a place where ideas grow, discoveries are made, and new pathways are continually being forged—among disciplines and between BU and the rest of the world.
With your help, the next generation of leaders, scholars, researchers, and entrepreneurs can join us in turning possibilities into reality. There are so many ways to make an impact. You can help undergraduate and graduate students receive a global, cutting-edge education that will prepare them for rewarding careers and will give them tools and resources to become trailblazers in their chosen fields. Or, you can help us support our faculty, who conduct groundbreaking research while bringing commitment and excitement to the classroom. No matter your contribution, you can have a hand in advancing human progress.
See the impact your fellow donors have made below. Or read more about our campaign to see how you can make a difference.

Spotlight on Gifts
- The Frederick S. Pardee School of Global Studies was endowed with the joint largest single donation in BU history. Pardee’s (SMG’54, GSM’54, Hon.’06) $25 million gift will support an interdisciplinary program aimed at the great challenge of advancing global human progress and educating the next generation of leaders who will address these issues.
- Current board member Steve Karbank (CAS’79, Parent CAS’12) pledged to continue his support of the Karbank Symposium in Philosophy for the remainder of the campaign.
- Since fall 2013, two more alumni and another set of CAS parents have established Century Challenge scholarships with gifts of at least $100,000, providing support for undergraduate students with financial need, in perpetuity.
Generous support from alumni and friends will have an enduring and important impact on the experience of students and faculty at the College and Graduate School of Arts & Sciences. Learn more about making your own impact at Impactx2.—Steve Kean, chief advancement officer
