Speaker Series Spring Lecture: Dr. Cirleen DeBlaere "Intersectionality and Multicultural Orientation as Frameworks for Cultivating Connection"
This presentation will introduce intersectionality and multicultural orientation as frameworks that can facilitate connection and coalition building. The definitions and roots of both frameworks will be presented. From this foundation, the ways in which these concepts can be utilized to facilitate connection and deeper understanding of self and other will be discussed and considered. Illustrative examples will be shared and explored.
