Institute for Philosophy and Religion Spring Lecture Series: Can Virtue Be Taught?
The BU Institute for Philosophy & Religion is pleased to announce its 2024 Lecture Series, “Can Virtue be Taught?” Dr. Kevin Hector, Naomi Shenstone Donnelley Professor of Theology and of the Philosophy of Religions at the University of Chicago, will begin the series with a lecture on “Lifegiving Hope: Virtue and Things that Matter.” Dr. Hector is author of Theology without Metaphysics (Cambridge UP, 2011) and The Theological Project of Modernism: Faith and the Conditions of Mineness (Oxford UP, 2015). His most recent book, Christianity as a Way of Life, was published by Yale University Press.
