IS&T RCS Tutorial - Using Python on the SCC
During this tutorial, we will introduce an appropriate workflow for working with Python on the Shared Computing Cluster. We will cover both interactive and batch jobs, address unique features of this application and step through the process of effective use of the SCC OnDemand tools.Prerequisite: You should have some familiarity with the SCC, such as from taking our “Introduction to BU’s Shared Computing Cluster” tutorial. You should also have some familiarity with Python, such as having used it on a desktop machine. Taking this tutorial and then later taking our "Introduction to Python" can be done but will be a bit harder to follow.
