Herstory: Amber Vittoria (CFA’12)
Last season AIGA Boston and Boston University College of Fine Arts introduced HERSTORY, a new lecture series celebrating and fostering women’s achievements in design. Join us at HERSTORY with designer, illustrator, and BU alum Amber Vittoria (CFA’12). Vittoria aims to break the ‘ideal physical female’ in her work. Over the past few years, she traded meticulous attention to detail for more natural, noisy and honest linework, believing the forms more aptly portray woman through a woman’s lens. Vittoria is a One Club Young Gun, American Illustration Chosen Winner, and ADC Annual Award Winner. Her work has been recognized by Print Magazine‘s 2017 New Visual Artists – 15 Under 30, It’s Nice That, Computer Arts, HuffPost, Teen Vogue, and Man Repeller.
