Boston University Medeiros scholarships were recently awarded to 14 graduating students from Boston archdiocesan high schools. The four-year full-tuition scholarships are part of the University’s Cardinal Humberto Medeiros Scholarship Program, established in 1986, which honors students for their academic achievement, leadership qualities, and service to their schools and communities. With this year’s recipients, BU has enrolled 241 Medeiros Scholars, totaling more than $21 million in scholarships. The recipients are (seated, from left) Christina Kratlian, Laura Shea, Amy Medico, Valerie Mascheri, and Katie Benhase; (standing, from left) Jeremy Wolfe, Shawn Murphy, Meghan Maloney, Allison Driscoll, Archbishop Seán O’Malley, President ad interim Aram Chobanian, Patrick Audley, Eric Silver, and Thomas Powers.
