The foundation and Delta Dental Plan of Massachusetts support the school-based sealant program started three years ago by SDM to treat the oral health needs of school-aged children. Growing up in Newark, N.J., Williams did not have access to preventive dental care during his formative years. He started the foundation, the first charitable endeavor in the field of dentistry supported by a professional athlete, to give back to the children and families of Massachusetts, New Jersey, and across the United States.
