The School of Education's Center for the Advancement of Ethics and Character (CAEC) hosted a one-day Internalizing Virtue Institute on November 10 at the School of Management for 30 teachers representing urban, suburban, and rural schools. The seminar, which was led by Karen Bohlin, CAEC executive director, and Deborah Farmer, an administrator at the Benjamin Franklin Charter School in Natick, examined the foundational principles of virtue and character development. The institute was partly funded by a Foundation for Citizenship through Character Education federal grant. Photo by Bernice Lerner |
