B.U. Bridge is published by the Boston University Office of University Relations.
Boston University hosted the opening ceremonies for the West End House Boys and Girls Club fall basketball league on Sunday, September 30, at BU's Shed. The club, a community-based service organization located in Allston/Brighton, provides a full range of youth development programs, including tutoring, computer literacy, leadership and community service clubs, sports leagues, and arts activities. Members of BU's ROTC and the VFW of Allston/Brighton were on hand to honor veterans and to salute the heroes of the September 11 terrorist attacks. Photo by Vernon Doucette
