Where to get help and give blood

Mental health services are available for any member of the BU community. Students can reach the Counseling Center, 19 Deerfield St., at 353-3540, or the Mental Health Clinic at Student Health Services, 881 Commonwealth Ave., at 353-3569. Employees can contact the Faculty/Staff Assistance Office, 270 Bay State Road, at 353-5381.

Blood drives are being held at various locations.

  • The Brookline Health Department is planning to schedule a drive but no details had been set as of press time. For information, check the town of Brookline Web site, www.townofbrooklinemass.com.
  • The LaSalle Student Center at MIT, Cambridge (Kendall Square stop on the MBTA Red Line or CT2 MBTA bus from the BU Academy), is also holding a blood drive. For information call 253-0253.
