2000 Metcalf Cup and Prize winner Jim Collins, an ENG professor of biomedical engineering, addresses new faculty on August 29 in the Photonics auditorium. Collins was part of a panel of BU academic speakers introduced by Kevin Smith, a CAS associate professor of physics and the newly appointed academic director of the Center for Excellence in Teaching.
