The BU Physical Therapy Center Whether you've been injured at home, at work, or at play, the Physical Therapy Center at BU Rehabilitation Services, 930 Commonwealth Ave., offers comprehensive evaluation and treatment plans to get you back on your feet again. Its main objective is to help each patient meet rehabilitation goals safely and quickly, and with information to prevent future injuries. In addition to treatment provided at the center, therapists develop extensive home programs that allow patients to maintain gains made in therapy. Because the healing process is a collaborative effort, therapists thoroughly educate patients about their injuries or dysfunctions, as well as about the healing process. Patients and their physicians are also provided with detailed information on progress throughout the course of treatment. The center can offer an appointment -- early morning or late evening if desired -- within 24 hours. For more information or to schedule an appointment, call 414-6825, or e-mail the director at bpsan@bu.edu and leave a daytime and evening phone number. |
